Got a Case of The Mondays?

We’ve all had one of those days before. You’re just not in the mood and that’s fine, but you just want to get passed the day. So how do you do it? Hubpages catalogs a few simple ways to get passed the Mondays without getting caught playing video games at your computer. My top favorites:

  1. Oxygen: Walk to a bathroom to boost blood flow and deliver a fresh dose of high quality H2O into your system. If you aren’t able to get up then take a break and close your eyes for a moment or two and take a few deep breaths.
  2. Temperature Change: Go splash cold water on your face. It will be a rude awakening if you aren’t prepared for ice cold water, but at the least you will be awake and alert. If you aren’t able to leave your desk then apply some water to a napkin and dab your face.
  3. Jump-start: Feed off your co-workers like a vampire! Bounce ideas off of colleagues. People are often tired just because they have exhausted their creative juices. Talk to a co-worker and you may have just had the creative jump start that you needed to get your engines rolling.
