Meet the team.

Eric Barron, President, has leap years of experience. He frequents colleges, corporations, and career events across the country. After spending most of his years in the business world, Eric made the decision to quit cold turkey and focus on his passion – helping young adults make the college to career transition and make the most of their potential.

If he wasn’t helping young professionals navigate their early careers, he’d definitely be coaching a high school basketball team. Eric lives in New Jersey with his wife and 2 diabolically adorable children.

Timothy Whitney, Media Director, is an award-winning filmmaker and new media creator. A graduate of Emerson College, he has spent the last 5 years producing creative content for the world and web working for himself and others.

He likes interactive design, bicycles, books, crafts and being places without cell service. Tim strives for innovation by bringing his love of visual storytelling in bed with emerging technologies. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Michael Pope, Associate Producer, is a seasoned filmmaker as well as accomplished writer. A Graduate of The New School with a degree in Culture & Media he has also produced a variety of films for NYU students, and often jokes that he’s received a film degree without the high costs.

Michael is a very laidback person and enjoys being a professional amateur photographer. He especially enjoys writing, and has written two feature length scripts with more coming down the pipeline. He lives in a small apartment in Manhattan, and is a cat person sans cat.

Barb Leung, Social Media Intern
Hello there! I’m Barb and am from Toronto, Canada. Currently, I’m a sophomore at New York University studying communications. I love marketing and public relations – seeing your work for public display and watching how it affects other people are things that bring a smile to my face. With also a background in graphic design, I look forward to being a great asset to the TAP team. One of the most important things that I’ve learned and would like to share is that if you have a dream, always follow it; as far as a goal may seem, you can always achieve it in one way or another.

Past Interns

Kendrick Wong, Intern
Hey! I’m Ken. I’m a senior at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. I’m a marketing intern at The Ability Project. College taught me to believe that people are capable of surprising themselves as well as others.

I grew up in New Jersey – all over – but I’m looking forward to exploring all that New York City has to offer during the summer. I’m big on traveling. I love it.

Mel Rad, Intern
Hi everyone! My name is Mel Rad and I am a senior at Babson College. Having grown up in Long Island, I fell in love with Manhattan at an early age so I came back to NYC for the summer and I am having a blast interning at The Ability Project. From marketing to business development, I really enjoy applying my education to the real world and contributing to the growth of this awesome firm. I absolutely love travelling, the outdoors, and volunteering in my free time. Through my experience with professional development, the job market, and interning at TAP, I learned the importance, and excitement, of dreaming big and always staying true to myself.
Jillian Dreyer, Intern
Hi! My name is Jillian Dreyer from Monson, MA. I am a senior at Babson College near Boston with a major in marketing. This summer, I am living in the NYU dorms in the city and I am interning at The Ability Project. I’m excited to work with the other interns, Melissa and Ken, to help develop numerous different projects that will be rolling out this summer and in the fall semester. Please feel free to email me with questions, comments, and feedback from my blog posts. I look forward to hearing from you!
